Virginia "Ginny" Wolfe, age 69, of Brookville PA,  passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Friday, July 15, 2016, as a resident of the Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA. Ginny was born on June 23, 1947, in Brookville, PA, to late Neil "Pete" Shaffer and Mary "Betty" Malacarne. On August 6, 1993, she married Ernest "Gomer" Wolfe, who survives her. Many people would remember her working as the Bar Manager of the Falls Creek Eagles Club. She also helped in the kitchen of the Brookville Eagles Club and she has been a member of the Brookville Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary since 1985. She was also a member of the Reynoldsville American Legion Auxiliary since 1991.Ginny graduated from the Brookville Area High School. She enjoyed rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and socializing with her friends. In addition to her husband, Ginny is survived by 2 sons, James Metts of Richardsville, PA; George (Lisa) Catarouche of Punxsutawney, PA; 1 daughter, Barb (Steve) Roth of Michigan; 1 step-daughter, Shelly (Greg) Shine of St. Marys, PA; 1 brother, Donald Shaffer of Brookville, PA; 6 grandsons, Michael Metts, Aaron Roth, Skyler Catarouche, Jakob Catarouche, Ryken Catarouche, and Caleb Shine; 6 granddaughters, Brandy Roth, Leigha Hudd, Lauren Hudd, Ashlyn Catarouche, Amber Schauer, and Megan Shine. In addition to her parents, Ginny is preceded in death by 1 brother, Theodore Shaffer. Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 18, 2016, at the McKinney - d'Argy Funeral Home, ltd, 345 Main St., Brookville PA, 15825, from 10am - 12noon. A Funeral Service will immediately follow the viewing, beginning at 12noon and officiated by Pastor Randy Evans. Interment will take place at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Knox Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
