Viola Hudson was born on August 28,1928 in Lamont, Mississippi to James Carter and Viola Carter. Where she was amongst eleven siblings; Goldie, Doris, Mary, Evelyn, LeDora, Odessa, LeElfie, Thomas, Clarence, Jimmy Lee, and Lola. 

Viola had a career at Sinai Grace located in Detroit, MI. Viola leaves behind to cherish her memories; two grandchildren: Lisa and Melvin Jr.; four great grandchildren: Donald, Paige, Christopher and Du'Shon; and host of nieces and nephew.
