Erickson, Victor J.Victor J. "Whitey" Erickson, age 79, of Plymouth, WI, passed away on the 27th of July, 2017 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.Victor was born on August 2, 1937 in Milan, WI, a son of the late John and Ella (Behr) Erickson.He attended Plymouth area Schools.On January 31, 1959 he married Dianne Fye at Ebenezer Evangelical and Reformed Church in Chilton.The couple has resided at Little Elkhart Lake since their marriage.Victor was employed at Gilson-Lawnboy-Toro Company in Plymouth for 32 years and retired from Wisconsin Tool and Die in Sheboygan Falls in 2002. He was a former director and honorary member of the Plymouth Snow Rangers and served on the Board of the Little Elkhart Lake Rehabilitation District Association. Victor enjoyed camping with family and friends, snowmobiling, woodworking and making cabinets for his wife and whatever else she dreamed up. Survivors include: his loving wife of 58 years; Dianne of Plymouth, four children; Vicky Erickson of Kiel, Karrie (David) Balz of Plymouth, Leif (Sarah) Erickson of Plymouth and Ryan (Lisa) Erickson of Elkhart Lake, Five Grandchildren: Travis Balz (Special Friend: Annie Pieper), Tyler Erickson (Fiancé: Rosi VanMaaren), Nic Erickson (Special friend: Morgan Klumpyan), Paige Erickson and Mckenna Erickson.Two Great Grandchildren: Devin and Logan Balz; Three brothers-in-law: Harold Klemme of Sheboygan Falls, Robert Eadelis of Plymouth and Frank Klemme of Plymouth; Five Sister-in-laws: Mildred Erickson of Greenbush, Pat Rediske of Plymouth, Annette Kohlmann of Plymouth, Geraldine Thede of New Holstein and Beverly (Charlie) Harder of Plymouth. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Gerald "Butch" Erickson and Lester Erickson; Four sisters; Jeanette Erickson, Elizabeth "Betty" Eadelis, Shirley Klemme and Virginia Klemme; one sister-in-law: Audrey (James) Grimmer and two brother-in-laws: Ronald Kohlmann and Glenn Conrad. Following Victor's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday afternoon (August 12, 2017) at 2:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Dale Miller will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday (August 12, 2017) from 12:00 Noon until the time of services.
