Trudie Marciel Shell, 68Muncie - Trudie Marciel Shell, 68, passed away July 4, 2017, at the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on September 25, 1948 in Muncie, the daughter of Raymond and Ethel (Clouse) Shell.Trudie was a three time cancer survivor and faced each occurrence with grace and courage, never questioning why or feeling sorry for herself. She was full of laughter and always smiling, never letting her disabilities gets in her way. She loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Trudie was a member of the Heritage Apostolic Church and loved her church family dearly. She had a light and love that will be missed by all who knew her.Trudie is survived by her mother, Ethel M. (Clouse) Shell, nephew Mike (Debbie) Shell, niece Tiffani (Roby)Parker, great niece's Chelcea Taylor, Kylie Shell, great nephews Coulton Parker, Corey Parker, Chase Shell, John Patterson and several great great nieces and nephews. Also her beloved dog Miracle.She was preceded in death by her father Raymond C. Shell, her brother Raymond M. Shell, her nephew Christopher L. Shell, great niece Patsy K. Shell and several dogs she treated as if they were her children.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Apostolic Tabernacle, 3120 S. Walnut, Muncie, IN 47302, with Pastor Michael Perdue officiating.
