Troy A. Stadler, age 40, of Pine Island and formerly of Northfield, Minn., died unexpectedly at home on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault with Bernadette Tatge, pastoral minister, officiating. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery, Northfield. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home. Troy Adam, the son of Lawrence and Judith (Helmer) Stadler, was born on Sept. 13, 1976, in Northfield. Troy attended school in Northfield. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed sports statistics and card collecting. He also enjoyed spending time with his niece and nephew, listening to music, all types, watching birds in the backyard, talking about current events and playing with his faithful cat. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Judy Stadler of Pine Island; his sister, Holly (Greg) McCracken of Castle Rock, Minn.; niece and nephew, Jenny and Brian McCracken; and aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Gillispie, paternal grandparents Frank and Phyllis Stadler and maternal grandparents Jim and Dorothy Helmer.
