Travis LeCount Obituary

Dec 01, 2016 - May 30, 2016

This obituary is administered by:
MILLERSBURG — Travis LeCount, 38, of Millersburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 30, 2016. He was born on Dec. 2, 1977, the son of Todd and Jeanie LeCount (Franklin) in Goshen. On April 1, 2002, he married Beth Bontrager in Syracuse. He is survived by his wife, Beth (Bontrager) LeCount of Millersburg; three children, Nicolaas, Matthew, and Paige LeCount of Millersburg; parents, Todd and Jeanie Lecount of Ligonier; mother-in-law Kathy Bontrager and her companion Duane Ewell of Ligonier; brother Michael (Amanda) LeCount and their children Mikey and Bradley LeCount of Syracuse; brother Derek (Felicia) LeCount and their daughter Aubrey LeCount of Ligonier; grandparents Jack and Barbara LeCount of Ligonier; sister-in-law Lynn Donat and her son Stefan (Katie) Donat of Elkhart; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Travis is preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Della Franklin and Albert and Dorothy Hawks. A true gentleman, who loved nothing more than being a husband to his wife, Beth, and a father to his beloved children, Nick, Matt and Paige. He walked many paths in life and no matter what, a quote he can now have lived by is "I lived and now I'm dead." Fixing cars, playing his electric or acoustic guitars, watching the Chicago Bears or Cubs baseball games were ways in which Travis spent his time. Above all of that, family always came first. A memorial service in Travis' honor will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Yeager Funeral Home 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier. Pastor Craig Fritchley of Millersburg will officiate. A private burial will take place at the Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center. Family and friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Millersburg Youth League or the Clinton Township Fire Territory volunteer firefighters. Yeager Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.yeagerfuneralhome.com.
