Tom DenmanMARION: Tom Denman, age 71 of Marion, passed away on Thursday November 24, 2016 at Marion General Hospital.Tom was born on October 6, 1945 in Marion, the son of Harold and Catherine (Laucher) Denman. Tom is a graduate of River Valley High School. On May 30, 1971 Tom was united in marriage to Carol Ann Weber. They have shared 45 years of marriage together.Tom has been a devoted farmer his entire life, always working hard to provide a good living for his family. He was very active with the Marion County Fair, showing cattle and teaching his children and grandchildren to show sheep. He was a very proud grandfather, always supporting his grandchildren at sporting events or anything else they were involved in. For over 10 years, Tom has enjoyed taking cruises with his family making cherished memories.Tom loved sports. He has been a season ticket holder to the Cleveland Browns since 1999. He also has been an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians as well as The Ohio State University Buckeyes.He is survived by his wife Carol Denman; children: Michelle (Todd) Kellogg and Michael (Carol Kidwell) Denman; grandchildren: Jacob and Reagan Kellogg, Jaylynn Buchmelter and Vyktoria Kidwell; sister Pat Scroggins.Tom is preceded in death by his parents.Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Snyder Funeral Homes, DENZER Chapel, 360 East Center St., Marion from 2PM to 5PM; Funeral services will be held Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 135 W Main St, Waldo at 10:30 AM with Pastor Sarah Schaaf officiating; Burial will be in Waldo Cemetery.If so desired, donations may be made to the Marion County Junior Fair, Sheep Committee or the .The Snyder Funeral Homes of Marion are honored to be serving the Denman family and condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.SnyderFuneralHomes.com
