Todd BoswellJuly 27, 1982 - April 20, 2013POCATELLO - Todd W. Boswell, 30, of Pocatello, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013.He was born on July 27, 1982, in Pocatello, to Paul and H.A. Boswell. He attended Inkom Elementary and graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 2000. As a young man he enjoyed scouting and earned many awards. He also played little league football and also some in high school. At the early age of eight he started skiing, soon after that he found his passion for snowboarding. In 2001 he started working as a lift operator at Pebble Creek so he could spend his days on the mountain. Those that didn't know his name knew him as "Batman" the "lifty" at Pebble Creek because he always wore a Batman t-shirt.Todd loved hiking, fishing, and camping with his family, going to places like Gray's Lake and others. Later in life Todd acquired an infatuation for mountain biking, wakeboarding, and cooking. He loved spending his spare time on the mountain, on his bike, or at the river hanging out with friends.When Todd was 20 he moved to California and began his construction career laying tile with his cousin. He also worked at Senor Iguana's, Pasta Vino's and the Sand Trap. He spent the last few years framing houses for Fullmer Construction.Todd had a fondness for unusual "critters" he enjoyed 2 snakes, a scorpion, a tarantula, and 2 turtles.Todd was the "go to" guy when it came to helping a friend with moving, home repair, or whatever they needed, you could always count on Todd.He is survived by his parents Paul and H.A. Boswell of Pocatello; brother Adam Boswell of Pocatello; grandmother Anne Gordon of Vista, CA; grandparents Clyde and Stella Boswell of Jerome, ID; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.He is preceded in death by his grandfather Wally Gordon.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Pebble Creek Ski Lodge.
