Brother Timothy Dawkins, 54, passed away November 14, 2017, at St.John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. Mr.Dawkins was born on September 10, 1963 to the late Richard and Julia Mae Dawkins.

In his passing, he leaves behind one daughter, Dakkimah Barnett, 37, of Allentown, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Daiyon, 21, Tamaia, 18, Ta-nijah, 16, Jah'ki, 2; and one great-grandson, Nay'von, 4 months. Mr.Dawkins also leaves behind a host of brothers and sisters including, Willie Dee Dawkins, Larry Dawkins, William R. Dawkins, May Helen Dawkins Johnson, Mary Ann Dawkins; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Timothy is predeceased by Marie Dawkins, Jerome Dawkins, Diane Dawkins, Michael Dawkins, Ronald Dawkins, Herman Lee Dawkins and his nephew, Clinton Dawkins.

Mr.Dawkins attended New Jersey Public Schools. Mr. Dawkins enjoyed football and basketball. He also enjoyed listening to his granddaughter sing and watching his grandson play basketball. Mr.Dawkins was very funny and outgoing. He would make you laugh and cry both at the same time! It was very clear that Mr.Dawkins cared deeply for his daughter, a.k.a his "BOOP."

And with his wings, there will be no more pain or suffering. So today Daddy we won't cry. Instead we will celebrate and rejoice! So spread your wings and "FLY HIGH."
