Thomas Werner Hilb, 66, of Cornelius, NC passed away on December 17, 2016 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. He was born on January 23, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH and was the son of the late Werner and Sue Heilbrun Hilb. Tom was tenacious in business, steadfast in friendship and committed in family life. A spectacular father and grandfather, he was beloved by all who had the honor of knowing him. While he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on in his three daughters, Katherine Hilb Shapiro and husband Matthew of Huntersville, Molly Hilb Federico and husband Daniel of Pennington, NJ, and Anne Lauren Hilb of Baltimore, MD; brother, Robert Hilb of Cincinnati, OH; two grandchildren, Charlotte Federico and Lilly Shapiro. He was preceded in death by one sister, Kathleen Hilb Leigh. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at 2:00 PM at James Funeral Home Chapel.
