Martin, ThomasThomas Martin, age 89, of Appleton and Palm City Florida, passed away on May 21, 2017 at a Neenah Wisconsin Hospital. Thomas was born on April 5, 1928 in Oshkosh Wisconsin to Roy and Frances (Saxton) Martin. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He married and raised a family with his first wife Ramona Martin. She preceded him in death on August 3, 1992. In 1993, he married Mary Foster Frawley. She preceded him in death on December 19, 2009. Thomas was a long time employee of Miller Electric of Appleton, retiring as Vice President of Purchasing. Thomas loved to play golf and was a member of the Butte des Morts Country Club as well as the Appleton Yacht Club.Thomas is survived and lovingly remembered by his children: Sue (Nick) Wellenstein, Andrew (Dawn) Martin, Timothy (Victoria) Martin, Ted (Janice) Martin, Betsy (David) Baumann, and Maryellen (Krystee Sidwell) Martin, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his wife Mary's children: Thomas (Jane) Frawley, Kathryn (Cheryl Turgeon) Frawley, and William (Marylou) Frawley as well as many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, his wife Ramona and his wife Mary.There will be a gathering to celebrate Thomas's life on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Wichmann Funeral Homes, Superior Street location.
