Thomas L. Diffenbaugh, 78, of Avon Lake passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016. Tom was born on January 21, 1938, and was a 1956 graduate of Avon Lake High School. He served in the Air Force, and was a typesetter for the government printing office, and he also worked part-time at the Avon Lake Police Department. Tom was a member of St. Joseph Church, loved bowling and basketball, and he coached and refereed basketball. Tom is survived by his wife, Marlyn (nee Lisbon); children, Dale, Drew, Dean, and Deanna; step-children, Lisa, Alan, and Lori; and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dorothy (nee Volk); and his daughter, Dawn.
