Mr. Thomas Eugene Clark, 73, of Thorntown, passed away Aug. 27, 2017, at his residence.Tom was born on Aug. 15, 1944, in Jasper County, the son of the now late Dean and Winnie (Hickman) Clark. He was married to Mary Clark. She survives.Tom was a press operator for Rostone Corp. in Lafayette for 25 years. He retired in 2005. Tom enjoyed hunting and gardening and was a proud member of the NRA. He was a member of Sugar Plain Church in Thorntown having served on the church board.Survivors include his wife Mary, children Tracey E. Clark of Thorntown, Crystal (Mark) McCurdy of Arkansas, and daughter-in-law Johnna Clark of Thorntown; grandchildren Nicole Lynne (Joe) Alexander of Colfax, Ryne Thomas Clark of Thorntown, Daniel (Cheri) Clark of Thorntown, Brooklynn (Daryn) Sulzer of Arizona, Rachel Clark of Dayton, IN, and Heather Clark of Thorntown; great-grandchildren Alaric Clark and Makenzie and Maddyson Sulzer; brothers George (Faye) Clark of Lafayette and Bob (Linda) Clark of Williamsport; sisters Carol Justice of Pekin, IL, Laura Pooler of Wisconsin, Grace (Miller) Jackson of Rossville and Vicky (Bruce) Messersmith of Remington. Tom was preceded in death by a son Todd Clark, a daughter Jody Reagan, brothers Wilson and Harold Clark and sisters Bonnie Warnke and Marilyn Clark.Family and friends will gather Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017 for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 31 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Larry Truitt officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Tom will be laid to rest at Sugar Plains Cemetery in Thorntown.
