Thomas M. Dimitroff, 75, from Waukegan, passed away on November 15, 2016. He was born on November 5, 1941, in Wakefield, MI, to Dimiter and Clarice Dimitroff. Tom was a member of St. Dismas Catholic Church. A man of many traits, he was a welder for nearly 20 years, owned and operated Thomas Limousine Service for 30 years, a bowler, avid Cubs and Packers fan, and enjoyed woodworking and playing cribbage. Having never met a stranger, he was a friend to many. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Eileen; four children, Daniel, Debra (Mark), Dean (Janet), and Dawn; eight grandchildren, Darin Jr. (Christina), Amber, Steven, Tatiana, Katrina, Nadia, Sophia, and Sebastian; one great-grandchild, Addison Grace; one sister, Sabina (James) Modjewski, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Darin Sr., and daughter-in-law Denise. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 9 to 11 a.m., with a funeral mass following at 11am at St. Dismas Catholic Church, 2600 Sunset Ave. Waukegan, Illinois. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Catholic Charities of Lake County.
