Thomas Bennett GuyottMar. 15, 1941 - Jan. 28, 2017NILES - Thomas Bennett Guyott, 75, of Niles, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at his home. He was born on March 15, 1941 in Three Rivers, MI to Laverne Bennett and Kathryn Marie (Kapp) Guyott. Thomas graduated from Niles High School Class of 1959. On October 5, 1963, Thomas married Sharon Patricia Rainey at a ceremony in Niles. Thomas was a great bear hunter, and loved the Upper Peninsula as much as he loved going to Martins where he spent a lot of time.Thomas is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon; daughter, Shelia Kaye Guyott; son, Thomas Frederick (Lisa) Guyott; grandchildren, Shannon, Abby, Ian, Conner, Rachel, Isabella, Nicole, Brad, David; great grandchildren, Blane, Skylar, Londyn and Bree. He is preceded in death by his parents, Laverne and Kathryn; sisters, Sharon Reaves, and Kathleen Marsh.A memorial service will be held by the family at 11 am on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Hope Community Church, 2390 Lake St., Niles, MI 49120.
