WHITE, Thayer "Pat" 88, of Red Rock, AZ, passed away on December 8, 2016 in Tucson. He was born on February 28, 1928 in Drawnmyer, PA to his biological father, Carl White and mother, Katherine Goldsmith. Pat was a great man. He was an Army veteran who served during the Korean War, and very proud of his First Lieutenant rank. He then graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in agriculture. He became very influential within the agricultural community, owning is own farm and ranch in Red Rock. He was a long time member of the Arizona Cattle Grower Association. Pat loved his community and served as a member of the school board; for both Red Rock Elementary and Santa Cruz Valley Union High School. Although Pat has passed, his legacy will not be overlooked. He touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed. Pat is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gloria K. White; two children, T.A. and Connie White; three brothers, Peter White, Timothy and Barclay Goldsmith; a sister, Kathryn Allen; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Katherine Goldsmith; a son, Clay White and a nephew, Scott White. A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at J. WARREN FUNERAL SERVICES, Cole and Maud, Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, Arizona.
