Teddy H. Hankins, 81Teddy H. Hankins, 81, of Colfax, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Homewood Health Care in Lebanon.He was born on July 10, 1935 in Indianapolis to Loyd D. and Lucille M. (Jarvis) Hankins. He is a 1954 graduate of Colfax High School. He married Phyllis M. McCarty on April 6, 1959 at the Colfax Methodist Church and she survives. Ted worked as a General Foreman for the Aluminum Company of America for 30 years retiring in February of 1985. He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed cars, and working on them. He had a love of learning and expanded his knowledge on many interests throughout his life. Surviving along with his wife Phyllis are his Children: Jackie L. (Roger) Misner of Lafayette, Tadd D. Hankins of South Bend, and Todd L. (Tracy) Hankins of Noblesville; Sister: Saundra Sue Timmons of Frankfort; 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.Private family graveside services were held at Plainview Cemetery in Colfax.
