Tamara Lynn Mueller Obituary

Oct 16, 1959 - Jan 19, 2017

This obituary is administered by:
Mueller (Bosshardt), Tamara LynnTamara Lynn "Tami" Mueller (Bosshardt) age 57 of Spring Green passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the UW Hospital in Madison, where she was recently diagnosed with cancer. She was born on October 16, 1959 in Sheboygan, WI the daughter of Richard and Carolyn (Wilsing) Bosshardt. Tami was married on September 17, 1988 to Scott Mueller. Tami graduated from Chilton High School and UW-Lacrosse with a degree in Computer Science. Over the years she worked as a computer programmer, USDA-SCS volunteer, insurance agent assistant, USDA-FSA part time employee, and most recently as a library assistant at the Spring Green Library. She spent 4 months in Brazil visiting her Brazilian sister, who stayed with her parents while she was in high school. This relationship has continued and others developed expanding across the globe. Tami was an active and valuable member of Christ Lutheran Church (CLC) Spring Green. She was a quiet and always faithfully inquisitive Christian in her Elizabeth Circle bible study. Always loving to work with numbers, Tami was an extremely reliable and incredibly organized treasurer for the CLC Women. Tami loved music, singing soprano in the church choir where 20+ years ago her daughter slept at her feet during choir practice. Tami also was a ringer in the church bell choir. Tami was a KIND but tenacious woman; traits she learned from her mother and passed on to her daughter. She was especially protective of those she loved. She was a gardener, canner, and an excellent baker and cook. She was also crafty, making all the nieces and nephews birth announcement needle points and Christmas stockings. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially water and the activities around it. Her activities outside of work included the Spring Green Art Fair, CLC Women, and exchange student parent multiple times. Tami's most important role was that of family planner for their busy and active lives. Love and pride was shown to her precious and talented daughter, Amanda by being a music supporter, soccer mom, picture taking UW band mom, and begrudgingly a roller derby mom. Love for her husband, Scott was shown by almost always being by his side supporting his commitments and serving as his personal delivery person and message taker. Married for 29 years, Tami planned trips with Scott to places all over the country and one trip to Europe. You won't see her in many pictures because she was always behind the camera. Survivors include her husband, Scott Mueller, a daughter Amanda Mueller of Madison, her father, Richard Bosshardt of Chilton, WI, 3 siblings, Kim (David) Thompson of De Pere, WI, Tori (Rick) Owens of Fond du Lac, WI, Tricia (Jim) Ronk of Waunakee, 6 nieces and 1 nephew on the Bosshardt family side, brother-in-law, Russ (Lisa) Mueller of Kiel, 1 niece and 1 nephew on the Mueller family side, numerous foreign exchange family members, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Bosshardt, mother and father-in-law, Betty and Clyde Mueller. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Christ Lutheran Church in Spring Green at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Mae Jean Zelle will officiate. Visitation will be held at the Christ Lutheran Church on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. and again on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the following: Christ Lutheran Church Women (CLCW), Carbone Cancer Center UW Madison, RVSA Soccer Program's "Light the Pitch" campaign (lights for high school soccer field). Scott, Amanda, and Tami's sisters, father, family and friends would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all Nurses, Doctors, and Staff at the University Hospital that extended such heartfelt care and professionalism to Tami. Online condolences available at www.staffordfuneralhomes.com. The Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
