Tamara (Tammy) K. LaneAugust 10, 1966 - July 2, 2017Salem - Tamara (Tammy) K. Lane, age 50, passed away peacefully at her home in Salem on Sunday July 2, 2017. She was born on August 10, 1966 in Salem Oregon to Linda Burt and Robert Lane.Tammy was a 1984 graduate of McKay High school. She worked for many years in customer service where she excelled through her sincere and caring demeanor.Tammy had a huge heart and would let you know by telling you "love you most". Tammy cherished spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed traveling, music, reading and her friends and games on Facebook. One of the biggest joys in Tammy's life was when she and Mitch's family grew by adopting their dog, Penny. Tammy often spoke her mind. Her no nonsense attitude and sincerity made Tammy the go to person for many of us if we needed advice, guidance or a shoulder to cry on.Tammy is preceded in death by her mother Linda, her step father Mike and her brother Steven. She is survived by her beloved Mitch Taylor; father Robert Lane; brothers Rob, Ian, Larry and Paul; sisters Tina Delaina, Angie and Maia; many nieces and nephews; and her dog Penny.Tammy's loss leaves a hole in our hearts, but how much she filled them left us all better for knowing her.Virgil T.
