Thomas Edward Brazell Thomas Edward Brazell, 85 passed away on April 20th, 2017. Tom was born on August 4, 1931 in Iron River, Michigan. He relocated his family to Tacoma in 1969. He spent the rest of his life in South Tacoma where he worked at General Metals for 36 years before retiring in 2007 as a maintenance supervisor. After his retirement Tom lead an active life enjoying the Pacific Northwest with many camping trips, hiking and biking with his family and walking daily around the neighborhood or at the golf course. He enjoyed spending time with his family and weekly breakfasts with his retired work buddies. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia and son Clyde. Tom is survived by his four children: Kim (Cindy) Brazell, Mike (Tamara) Brazell, Greg (Shannon) Brazell and Mary Ann (Tim) Gebhard. His eight grandchildren: Christina, Ken, Rick, Nick and Matt Brazell, Willow and Rowen Gebhard, Nick Holliday, and his great grandson Ricky Brazell. In addition, he leaves his special friend and partner Shirley Wohlman. Tom was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed. He will always have a place in our hearts and we will strive to be the kind of person we know he wanted us to be. At Tom's request there will be no services. A family memorial will be held in June.
