Syndea Lee Smith, 31, and her sons Cade Nolan Crowe, 6, and Trevor Malcom Smith, 4, of Ellensburg died during the early morning hours of April 16th in a tragic house fire. Syndea was born on April 11, 1980 in San Franciso, Ca. She moved to Ellensburg in l993, and attended Ellensburg High School. She moved back to Ellensburg in 2003 and has been employed by Fred Meyer's since July 2005. Although Syndea struggled in life as a working single mother, she always had time for others. She loved social networking, had a sharp wit, and great smile. Her life revolved around her boys, helping people, riding horses, music, singing, and seeing her mom in Oregon. Syndea is survived by her mother Nancy, brother Ryan and other surviving family. Cade was born on June 15, 2004 in Ellensburg, he loved being the "kitchen helper" and eating at the China Buffet. Trevor was born on March 15, 2007 in Ellensburg. He loved his big brother Cade. No fan of vegetables Trevor seemed to live on Peanut Butter Sandwiches which he enjoyed making himself. Both brothers loved animal cookies and playing Ninja and Power Rangers. The brothers loved their mom, dad and grandmothers very much. Cade and Trevor are survived by their father Noel Wesley Crowe, their brother Donald Wesley Crowe, Aunt Leslie, and Grandma Beryl. A memorial service, and potluck will be held at 1pm April 21, 2011 at the home of George and Deborah Shelton, and hosted by Syndea's best friend Tabitha Shelton-Engelstad, at 6510 Naneum Rd., Ellensburg, Wa. 98926 Donations for the family may be made through any Chase Bank by making out a deposit slip to the Syndea Smith Memorial.
