My grammy was an awesome lady and the chats I had with her are memories I will forever treasure. Although she had several siblings she told me of the many times her daddy spoiled her. She told me about her orneriness as a teenager and how she met my grandpa and a little bit about their marriage. She talked often about her kids and how each one was special to her for different reasons. We talked about her grandkids near and far and how she missed certain ones she couldn't see as they were growing up. We even talked about death and her wants. She talked about the dress she wanted to wear that had a special connection to one her Sons. So said many times she was tired and prayed that God would take her but we talked about her unfinished business here on earth. She talked aboout the grandkids coming together at least one last time for her funeral. We talked about her worries for her kids, who would send one of her kids packages and who would look after that one kid who looks after everyone else. I said my goodbyes when I left the state and she understood but that does not make the loss of my grammy any less painful.

I know with this crazy so called pandemic business there will probably not be a funeral for my grammy but I want her to be remembered and I would love to know about everyone elses memories of her.
