Sister Sylvia, from Chicago returned to Allah on 06/27/2020 at Holy Cross hospital. May Allah forgive her sins, accept her good deeds, enter her into Janat ul Firdous and give Sabr to the family. She leaves behind her two daughters Shanita Washington (Natavius son-in-law) and Shantia Jackson and four grandchildren. Her janaza was held at the Mosque Maryam July 1st immediately after the first juma, and she was buried in the Muslim portion of the Westlawn Cemetery and Mausoleum.
