Ritter, Susan J.Susan J. Ritter, 61, of Little Suamico, found peace on Monday, September 11, 2017 after a long courageous battle with illnesses. She was born on May 19, 1956 in Green Bay.Susan spent her life working back breaking jobs in order to support her two children, only quitting so that she could take care of her Mother in her final years of her life. Susan married her husband, Steve Ritter, on their 10 year anniversary, 25 years ago. She lived for her family. They were her pride and joy and she was always there for them. Just as Susan cared for her family, she also cared for her animals. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds and chippies that came up on the deck. A few of her favorites included the pileated woodpecker and her white squirrel. Susan made sure all the neighborhood strays had food, and took in and loved the ones that she could coax inside. She nurtured, cared for and loved every living thing around her. Survivors include her husband, Steve; two daughters, Kelly (Troy) Brunette & Tammy Heise; two Stepchildren, James (Kristie) Ritter & Eric (Amanda) Ritter; four grandchildren, Amelia, Catrina, McKenzie, Rileah; two step grandchildren, Colton and Grant; and one great grandchild, Landyn; four sisters and one brother, Linda (Doug) Bartholomew; Sharon (Doug) Haraway; Jeff (JoAnn) Boehm; Terri (Wally) Henderson; Christine (John) Bohm, and numerous nieces and nephews.Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Boehm & Jo Dumas; her brother Micheal Boehm; and her children's father, Al Brunette.Family and friends may call at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017 from 3 until 6pm.
