Steven Darryl Finley was born February 24, 1963 at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Steven was the nineth child out of eleven children, he was the youngest boy of the family. He was fondly nicknamed by our mother, tinkie. He was also fondly know by his friends as "Mac Finn" because he loved talkng to the ladies. He was born to the union of Easter Mae Finley and Henry Finley Sr. He was loved by many for his genuine personality, loyality to family and friends. He was a strong man that showed a nurturing and caring spirit that heightened his understanding of life and death. 

Steve will be dearly missed at all our family gatherings as the life of the party. He always had a joke to say and a hilarious come back. He was the best spades player. He never had a problem with telling you the truth. 

Steve was preceded in death by both is parents Easter Mae  and Henry Finley Sr. By his niece Shakeeta Finley and two nephrews Johnny Jones and Tyrone Finley Jr. and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He lives to cherish his memory, his six kids: Deandre, Lavon, Lavoris (lil honey), Taylor (Lanetta), LaShae, & Charles Dorsey. His pride and joy, two grandchildren: Kayden Parker Simpson and Malachi'Dream Parker. He also lives four brother and six sisters: Henry, Tyrone (Dorothy), Prentiss, & Clifford. Six sisters: Josephine (Jim), Shirley (Daniel), Bridgett, Daphine, Brenda, Miltonya. and a host of nephew, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
