RAYMOND - Steven A. Mitchell, 24, passed away on September 14, 2013. Steven was born on March 2, 1989 in Racine to the late Lynn and Janine (Christensen) Mitchell. Steven faced a great amount of loss and struggle throughout his life. The one thing that remained constant for him was his family and friends. Steven was a devoted and loving father to his son, Cayden. Cayden was the most important part of Steven's life and he cherished him more than anything. They spent a great amount of time together playing and kicking the ball outside. Steven loved his sisters and family too. Steven will be dearly missed by his son, Cayden; his sister, Rebecca Mitchell, and his twin sister, Stacey Mitchell; aunt and uncle, Pat and Carmon Darracott; cousin, James Darracott; and aunt, Elizabeth Mitchell. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and Janine Mitchell; and his Grandmothers, Leona Christensen and Arlyn Mitchell. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Wilson Funeral Home at 6pm. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 4pm until the service at 6pm and are invited to stay after the service for refreshments.
