AUBURN — Steve (Shaw) Elmer passed away peacefully at his home in Auburn on June 18, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Elmer was born on June 4, 1953, to Harold and Patricia (Shaw) Richey. He is survived by two children, Skip and Angie; four grandchildren, Jordan, Tiffany, Brianna and Airianna; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Elmer also is survived by one sister, Carol; two brothers, Brian and Bruce; biological mother; longtime companion Kate Howard; two half-sisters; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Steve will be remembered for his big heart and his love for his family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11, from 1-4 p.m. at his home.
