Bohmann, Stanley J.Stanley "Stan" Bohmann, 62, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away Friday, March 24, 2017, peacefully at home. Memorial services for Stan will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday March 29, 2017 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Fr. Dave Bruener will officiate the service. The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the time of services.Stan was born on January 24, 1955 to Lawrence and Anna Bohmann in Wisconsin Rapids. He entered the U.S. Army in 1973, where he graduated from St. Mary's, Colorado Springs, CO. During his time in the Army, Stan served as a Congressional Escort to the United States President, Gerald Ford. He married Linda Olds on June 30, 1973 at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. The couple was blessed with 43 years of marriage. Stan retired in 2010 from Laborers Local 268. For the past 5 years he worked as a green's keeper at Bull's Eye Country Club.Stan enjoyed fishing and hunting. His most recent adventures were with his coyote hunting group. He also liked cooking, listening to Johnny Cash, and relaxing at home near the river. You could often find him feeding the catfish while enjoying his favorite frosty beverage.Stan is survived by his wife Linda, his 2 children Wendy (Chad) Schooley, Wisconsin Rapids, Kyle (Maggie) Bohmann, Port Matilda, PA; grandchildren Matthew, Jackson and Anna Schooley, and Lincoln Kwok-Bohmann. He is further survived by sisters Shirley (Wayne) Aschenberg, Silvia (Ron) Epprecht, and Sally Bohmann. Sisters in -law Judy (Mike) Miers, Sandy (Dick) Kirklin, Gail (Scott) Arneson. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Archie and Lou Olds, and infant son Jamie Thomas.The family would like to give a special thank you to Drs.
