ThiedeAge: 58 • VeronaShirley Ann (Watson) Thiede, 58, widow of Michael Dean Thiede of Verona, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.Mrs. Thiede was born on November 26, 1958 in Keysville, Virginia, a daughter of the late Joseph Allen, Sr. and Bessie Mae (Erby) Watson.Shirley had worked at 7-11 and Wendy's in Verona and prior she had worked for the Staunton School System as a cook at Thomas McSwain Elementary School for a number of years.In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Thiede was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Elizabeth St. John and a brother, Joseph A. Watson, Jr.Surviving are nine children, Sherry (Thiede) Smith and husband Michael, Jenny Thiede, Michael Dean Thiede, II and wife Missy, Scott Thiede, Stephen Thiede, Melissa Balestra and husband Jared, Shannon Richardson, Susan James, and James Wooten and wife Amanda; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, John A. Watson and wife Earleen; two sisters, Diane Zich and Virginia Carwile; special friends, Jan Stevens and Amanda Hope Rankin; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. William "Bill" Trice.  The family will receive friends following the service.A private graveside will be held at Albert G.
