Shirley M. Schwuchow1931 - 2016Shirley M. Schwuchow, 85, of Kenosha passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Becker Shoop Rehab and Memory Care. Shirley was born on May 9, 1931, in Racine to Edward and Myrtle (Hansen) Olson. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Bradford High School in 1949. Shirley married Earl Schwuchow on June 26, 1956, at St. Mary's Lutheran Church, where Shirley was a longtime member. She was an avid Green Bay Packer's fan, enjoyed knitting and loved to cook. Shirley's greatest passion in life was taking care of her family.She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Thomas Schwuchow; her parents; and her siblings, Dorothy Ruffalo, Edward Olson and Jennilee Langenbach.Shirley is survived by, her son, Steven (Carol) Schwuchow of Lutz, Fla.; her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Schwuchow of Kenosha; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and friends.Funeral services for Shirley will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016, at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
