Shirley NorthwayMarionShirley J. Northway, 84, of Marion passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Bickford of Marion surrounded by her loving family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 4 to 7 P.M. in the Chapel of Memories Stateroom. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11 AM at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.Shirley was born on July 18, 1932; the daughter of Clarence and Lola (McCall) Fisher. Shirley enjoyed traveling in their numerous motor homes and kept detailed diaries of their trips. Shirley was an avid bowler with a 700 series and was in the bowling Hall of Fame. She enjoyed gardening and her favorite flower was the Iris. Above all Shirley loved spending time with her family and her pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gilbert, sister Phyllis, brother Clarence, and a grandson Nick. Left to cherish Shirley's memories are three sons Randall (Carole) of Marion, Kevin (Sherrie) and Brent (Diane) all of Springville, five grandchildren, Jason (Carrie), Spencer (Tiffany), Colin (Brandi), Clark (Leanne), Laura, and 8 great grandchildren. A brother Frank (Mary), two sisters Bev (Jim), and Patsy. Memorials in Shirley's honor may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society or the Community Health Free Clinic.
