CashAge: 80 • StauntonShirley Virginia (Jordan) Cash, 80, wife of Bobby Lee Cash, Sr. of 905 New Hope Road passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her residence.Mrs. Cash was born on June 7, 1936 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Hudson and Margie Jane (McCray) Cash.Shirley attended White Hill Church of the Brethren and was a homemaker. In her earlier years, Mrs. Cash worked at the Montgomery County Hospital and Genesco. She enjoyed finger painting, working puzzles, and tending to her pet dogs.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cash was preceded in death by two sons, James Daniel "Danny" Austin and Keith Austin; two brothers, Jim Jordan and Paul Jordan; and a sister, Frances Irene Rowe.Surviving in addition to her husband of thirty-eight years, are three daughters, Susan Sutton Newton and Cynthia Cash both of Staunton and Teresa Brown of Waynesboro; two sons, Dale Austin of Covington and Steven Austin of Salem; a step-son, Junior Cash of Waynesboro; two step-daughters, Sandy Loughner and Patsy Brown, both of Staunton; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ella Jordan and Mallie Cash; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.A Celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Chapel by Pastors James I.
