Shirley Irene McCoidZANESVILLE: Shirley Irene McCoid, 80, of Zanesville passed away on Monday February 16, 2015 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.Shirley was born on February 16, 1935 in Zanesville to the late Charles and Gwendolyn Sarbaugh Darnell. She was a graduate of Lash High School, retired as a supervisor at Essex Wire, and was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church where she was active in Mildred Butler Circle and United Methodist Women. She is survived by three daughters, Robin (Robert) Ludman, Jamie (Michael) Hittle, and Kimberly (Darren) Gibson; two sons, Randy McCoid and Daniel McCoid; two sisters, Bonnie Snyder and Linda McNutt; and three grandchildren, Sarah Ann McCoid, Jensen Dale Hittle, and Alissa Brooke Gibson.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Gwen Gyier and Sue Ann Darnell.Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8pm on Wednesday February 18 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Doris Flynn officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
