Shirley Powell, 71, passed away on January 25, 2021 in Milwaukee, WI. She was born on January 11, 1950 in Martinez, CA to Henry and Irene Powell of Masonville, AR.

Shirley grew up in Masonville, AR. She received her formal education at Tillar High School in Tillar, AR. She worked for Peck Meat Packing in Milwaukee, WI for over 10 years until she decided her work there was done.

Shirley is survived by her children: Charles Young (son), Demetria Powell(daughter), Gregory Powell (son), & Samantha McClain (daughter) of Milwaukee, WI. Also survived by her siblings: (Brothers) Joe Powell (Phyllis), Jessie Powell (Bonnie) and Kenneth Owens of McGehee, AR, Samuel Powell (Josephine) of Milwaukee, WI, Eddie Scott of Chicago, IL, (sisters) Queen Attaway of Ceres, CA, Christine Sutton, LaSandra Shaw, Ann Hankins, Rosa Lee Hankins of McGehee, AR, Mary Brown of Chicago, IL, and Felicia Light of Wynn, AR, a host of grandchildren and great grand-children other family and friends.

Shirley is preceded in death by (mom & dad) Irene & Henry Powell, (brothers) Billy Powell, Henry Powell Jr., Jerry Powell, James Powell,
(sisters) Fannie (Mose Eddie) Rose, Eldoria Cook, and Jackie Owens.

A memorial service will be held at Willis Funeral Home, 101 N. Park St. McGehee, AR 71654 at 1pm. on January 30, 2021.
