Shirley Ann PattonUtica: A funeral service for Shirley Ann Patton, 84 of Utica will be held Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Reverend Marvin Haught presiding. Burial will follow at Homer Cemetery.The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the funeral home.Mrs. Patton went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2017 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. She was a resident of The Laurels of Mount Vernon. She was born on December 1, 1932 in Newark, a daughter to the late Louis and Mabel (George) Lee. She married Joseph Patton and they were married for 58 years.Shirley was a member of Homer Presbyterian Church. She was formerly employed by Newark Telephone Co., Ohio Power, and a cook for North Fork Schools Shirley graduated from Newark High School in 1950.Shirley is survived by her children, Cathy (Lee) Bailey, Jeffrey (Deb) Patton, Brad (Allyson) Patton, all from the Utica area; grandchildren, Jason Bailey, Amy Kohler, Wendy (Scott) Howard, Alex, Caleb, Kaylee and Nick Patton; numerous great-grandchildren, Makenna, Emily, Bailey, Corbin, Bryce, Ellis, Harrison; brothers Harold and David Lee; nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Patton who passed away March 7, 2011; brother, Larry Lee, sisters-in-law Evelyn Lee and Karen Lee.In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to Homer Fire Dept., P.O.
