Sheyrl "Sherry" RenickerNEWARK: A funeral service celebrating the life of Sheyrl "Sherry" Renicker, age 57, of Newark, will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 31, at The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral and Cremation Service. Sherry passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her home. She was born on January 13, 1960 in Newark.Sherry was a graduate of Newark High School. She worked at Kindred of Newark as an STNA and formerly as the Activities Director when the facility was Newark Healthcare. She was a Pittsburg Steelers fan, enjoyed bingo, going to casinos and will always be remembered for her care and support of her patients and friends. She is survived by her husband, Edward "Ed" Renicker, whom she had known for over 37 years and become his bride March 16, 2001; her father and step-mother, Glenn R. and Chris Murphy; step-father, Keith Zolman; seven siblings, Dennis (Della) Murphy od Howard, Vickie (Tim) Stokes of Newark, Shelly (John Kipp) Tanner of Mt. Vernon, Glendora Lord of Mt. Vernon, Pat Murphy of Butler, Fred Murphy of Mt. Vernon and Roger (Denise) Murphy of Bellville; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith A. (Kieber) Zolman; and a nephew, Dennis W. Murphy.Memorial contributions may be made in care of the funeral home.
