Shawn Marie Jungers, age 50, Shawn passed away peacefully May 03 2019 surrounded ber her loved ones after her 3 year battle with cancer.  Shawn was born Oct 7th 1968 to James and Darlene Cederstrom in Duluth, Minnesota. Shawn married her longtime friend and love Tom Jungers April 11th 1987. Shawn had a passion to help others and at the young age of 14 started her life long jouney in the healthcare field at We Care Haven Nursing Home in Hartley, Iowa as an aide. Shawn earned her nursing degree at Northwest Iowa College and spent her professional career as a very loiving and caring nurse. Shawn loved spending time with her three granddaughters (Aubrey, Gracie and Kaylee), gardening, decorating her home for the differen holiday seasons and baking (Shawn made a mean strawberry/rhubarb pie !!) Shawn had a way with making people feel comfortable, welcomed and loved because she was always so geniuine and giving. Shawn always greated people with her incredible smile (Shawn had all star dimples !!) even through her incedibly brave battle with cancer.  Shawn was proceeded in life by: James and Darlene Cederstrom (parents), Tom Jungers (husband), Amber and BJ Bruns (daughter and son in-law), Katie and Justin Nelson (daughter and son in-law), Dallas Jungers (son), siblings, Jim (Missy), Randy (Tracy), Carrie (Cedric), Brenton (Kelly). Shawn shared this bible verse late in her life: Deuteronomy 31:6, " Be strong and courageous! Do not fear and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will not fail you nor farsake you."
