Monigal, Sharon R.Sharon R. Monigal, 58, Ashwaubenon, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016 unexpectedly at home. She was born on February 18, 1958, in Green Bay to William and Gloria (Birr) Monigal.Sharon was employed at Georgia Pacific West as an Administrative Assistant for over 38 years. She enjoyed her Bible study group. Sharon also enjoyed watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers and the Badgers. She was fortunate enough to attend two Green Bay Packer Super Bowls. Sharon liked playing cards and games with friends and family, going to plays, following the band Rocker, family trips (recently to Branson), many trips with her friends and family to Door County, and just being with her friends. Family gatherings were never dull with her humor.Sharon is survived by her mom, Gloria; six sisters and a brother, Sue Krcma, Sandy Quigley, Gail (Dave) Lohman, Barb (Darrell) Ott, Wendy (Jim) Greenawald, Mary (Keith) Davis, Scott (Dee) Monigal; 19 nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and great-nephews, including a special great-niece, Elena; and many friends.She was preceded in death by her dad, William Monigal; and two brothers, Jim Monigal and Randy Monigal.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 28. There will be a Parish Wake Service held at 7 p.m. Friends may also call at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 N. Maple Ave., from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.
