Meier, Sharon M.Sharon M. Meier, age 59, a Manitowoc resident, passed away peacefully Monday, October 3, 2016 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.She was born on January 31, 1957 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Kenneth and Florence (Halverson) Busse. Sharon was a graduate of Valders High School, Class of 1975. On October 9, 1982 she married Roy Meier at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. Sharon was employed with the Manitowoc Eye Clinic for over 20 years. She enjoyed sports, especially watching Packer games with friends. Sharon enjoyed gardening and golfing with her husband and was proud of her membership at Wander Springs. She also joined pool leagues, was an excellent player, always finishing towards the top. Sharon liked to cook and enjoyed the holidays with family and friends. She always had fun supporting and watching her husband Roy's softball and bowling games. Sharon was a great party host and threw many memorable celebrations.Survivors include her husband: Roy Meier, Manitowoc; and a sister: Judy Wessely, Manitowoc County resident.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders.
