Sharon Lee Ducate Bedinger80, of Carmel, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017. She was born on November 2, 1936 in Shreveport, LA, to the late Jack and Lena Hogan Ducate. Sharon taught sixth grade at Carmel Middle School before retiring in 1998. She also volunteered at Carmel St. Vincent hospital. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Brian Kelley.She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, David Bedinger;  twin sister, Shirley; brother, Doug (Judy); children, Keith (Lorri); daughter Paige (Rob); daughter-in-law Debbie; stepson Tom; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.   Family and friends will gather on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 4 - 7 p.m. in Church at the Crossing, 9111 Haverstick Road, Indianapolis, IN. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 3 in the church.
