Sharon GondeckVentura, CASharon Carol Gondeck (Banks) of Ventura, CA passed away at her home on Monday, July 31, 2017. Sharon was born on August 8, 1951 at Chandler Airforce Base in Arizona. Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Edward Gondeck; daughters Angela (Darren Lincoln), Danalle (David Potter) and Nicole Gondeck; Grandsons Brandon Gondeck, Justin Daniels, Christian Lincoln, Nathan Potter, Collin Potter, Cameron Lincoln and Aidan Gondeck-Lisle; brother Greg Banks (Betty). She was preceded in death by her brother Carl Banks, father Stanley Banks and mother Gloria Adams. Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother actively involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She believed in giving back to her community and after she retired from 25 years to Community Memorial Hospital she became a volunteer for the Auxiliary and was a ?cuddler? in the NICU. She was also an active member in the San Buenaventura Women?s Club where she helped raise money to support local organizations. Memorial services will be held at Community Presbyterian Church located at 1555 Poli St, Ventura, CA Saturday September 9, 2017 at 11 am. A reception will follow in the church Fellowship Hall.
