Shannon Uriah JustusCOLUMBUS: Shannon Uriah Justus, age 43, passed away on December 28, 2016 at his residence following an extended battle with addiction. He was born on October 23, 1973 in Westerville, Ohio to the late Terry Justus and Rose (Snyder-Justus) Smith. Shannon was a US Navy Veteran and was honored to serve his country. Shannon was a kind, generous man and was loved by family and friends. He will be missed. Shannon is survived by his son, Quinton Justus; sister, Crystal (John) Ashcraft; niece, Brittany Tingler; nephews, Christian (Emily) Tingler and Dommy Ashcraft; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Terry Justus and Rose (Snyder-Justus) Smith; stepfather, Thomas Smith; grandmother, Grace Justus; cousins, Tony Wilson, Shauna Justus, Jamie Lester, River Weber, River Weber II, Nikki and Tyler Reece. Shannon's family would like to extend a special thank you to Drew Stanforth and family, as well as, all of his V.A. family. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Greater Praise Temple Baptist Church, 1385 Brentnell Avenue, Columbus, OH 43219. Pastor Rev. Woods officiating.
