Shakira Alnisa “Boni” (Jefferson) Gwyn , born on April 04, 1968 to Mary Jefferson and the late Samuel Jones in Newark, New Jersey. She parted this life at the age of 51 on August 09, 2019 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. A life long Atlantic City resident where  she was affectionatly known as "Aunt Boni" and loved by everyone she came across. She served her life as Loving mother, a passionate daughter and sister, and a loyal friend. Shakira was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Jones Sr; daughter, Atiyah Linder; sister, Kim Jefferson and Laronda S Jones. Shakira is survived by her mother, Mary Jefferson; two sons Sean(Stephanie) & Pierre( Casey) Gwyn and daughter, Maliah Linder; brothers, Samuel R Jones Jr, Samuel R Jones 3rd; sister, Samantha H Tomlinson; grandchildren, Briana Gwyn, Sean Gwyn Jr. , Mariah Gwyn , Gabrielle Stanton, Ayana Vinson, Bryce Gwyn, Pierre “ Burger” Gwyn Jr, Emily Gwyn, and Amara Gwyn; nieces, Shaheedah & Khadijah Woodall and nephew, Abdul Woodall , along with many other close relatives and friends.
