Houston, Scott Howard Prominent Phoenix attorney Scott Howard Houston died suddenly at age 55 in Phoenix Arizona on the 27th of April, 2017. Scott was born on May 10th, 1961 in Orlando Florida. His parents were Robert G. Houston and Sheila K. Beaucond. Scott graduated with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles, where he majored in a double major including Economics and History. In May 1986 Scott received his Juris Doctor with honors from the Arizona State University College of Law. Upon graduation, Scott accepted a position with the prestigious law firm of Teilborg, Sanders & Parks, P.C. and was admitted to practice law by the State Bar of Arizona in October of 1986. "Papa Scott" would boast that he made the best chocolate chip pancakes and bacon of course. Scott embodied the value of family friendly competition in various sports including beach paddle ball games, ("definitely not gettable!") a phrase routinely heard coming from our Dad's mouth. Golf games with Trish and the boys always had a wager associated with it and the barbecue cook off's with son Donnie were legendary. Scott enjoyed a love of Formula One Racing and he and son John would watch the races regularly each having their own favorite. As a father, Scott showed his family unconditional love, always the provider, protector, teacher, friend and mentor. His temperance with his boys will always be one of the greatest traits he has passed on. Additionally, Scott set the standard for how hard work and determination can bring fulfilling life-long joy and happiness. He will be remembered by his generous nature and his family and friends will miss his witty humor and anecdotal story telling.
