Sanford is a sad loss for his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. There is comfort that is real and meaningful to offer. The words are not my words, but those of the most high God himself. In his word the Bible it clearly states death is a sleep-like condition. At Ecclesiastes 9:5 it says that Sanford isn’t even aware of time passing. Jesus referred to Lazarus as sleeping in the book of John after he died! So what is Sanford’s future? All those in the grave will come out to life again. A fundamental part of the rule of God’s Kingdom is that the resurrection of mankind will take place here on the earth. Sanford will not be old, sick, or in fear. He will be part of mankind that will see God’s original purpose for mankind fulfilled. What a wonderful day that will be!
