Parins, Sandra (King)Sandra (King) Parins, 76, Green Bay, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 11, 1941, in Green Bay to Robert and Mildred (Mangless) King.On April 15, 1961, Sandy married Jerry Parins at Annunciation Catholic Church and together they had three daughters. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a loyal supporter of her family and friends. She showed love by always having a meal on the table, ironing her loved one's clothes, making her house feel like a home, and providing emotional strength during the hard times. She was a selfless behind-the-scenes caregiver who shied away from recognition for her many acts of kindness.Sandy is survived by her husband, Jerry; their children: Shelley (Craig) Makholm; Toni Melchior (special friend Dave) and Melissa (Jason) Wied; six grandchildren, Brock, Brett, Jack, Sam, Henry, and Rae. She is also survived by three sisters, Barbara Engels, Judy Vanden Hoogen, Kathleen (Larry "Spike") Andersen; a special nephew Ric, and other nephews, nieces, special friends and close neighbors.She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert "Corky" King; and her sister, Sharon Routheau. Friends may call at Old St. Joseph Catholic Church on St. Norbert College Campus, 123 Grant St., De Pere from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 14. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Please park at Cassandra Voss Center visitor parking lot P14 and then follow the sidewalk past the right side of the Bemis International Center through the campus toward the Fox River. If lot P14 is full, parking on the streets going west, past Dudley Birder Hall is permissible. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.
