Samuel Byron Watkins III died peacefully in Phoenix, AZ on Thursday December 8, 2016 at the age of 83. Samuel is survived by his wife Adele, daughter Kerry, son Sean, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and sister Claudette Hightower of Ohio. Samuel was born on May 1, 1933 in Yuma, AZ. He graduated from Yuma Union High School in 1952. He served 22 years in the United States Navy. Samuel also retired from United States Army Civil services. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Memorial Service to be held at BPO ELKS #476 on December 20, 2016 at 1pm.
