Donna/Mercedes - Sam Pequeno, 27, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on April 21, 1989 to Sam Pequeno Sr., and Rosa Emma Galvan, one of three children. Sam graduated from Donna High School in 2006. After working a variety of jobs Sam, settled into a career in the oil industry where he worked until his passing. Sam married his teenage sweetheart, Belinda Casas, on June 7, 2012. Sam loved to cook and BBQ with family and friends and never passed up a chance to fish. He was always known as a very hard worker who was always the first to act and lend a helping hand. Sam was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros fan. He is survived by his loving wife Belinda Pequeno, his parents: Sam Pequeno Sr. and Rosa Emma Galvan, his brothers: Jorge Pequeno , Joshua Pequeno and sister Lindsay Barajas. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home chapel. Chapel service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:00 am at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Heavenly Grace Cemetery in La Feria, TX under the direction of Garcia & Trevino Funeral Home of Mercedes, TX.
