Salvatore PomaPort HuronSalvatore Poma, 66, of Port Huron, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. He was born on June 28, 1951 in Italy to Francesco and Paola Poma. Salvatore and his family moved to Michigan in 1968.Salvatore was a very talented cabinet maker and woodworker.  He loved to help people and enjoyed spending time with his family.  Salvatore was an outdoorsman, he loved to fish, hunt and camp. You would find him down at the water fishing any chance he had.Salvatore is survived by his brothers; Giuseppe Poma, Alfio (Polly) Poma and a sister; Leonarda Poma, niece; Alana Jennings and nephew; Vincent Poma, his girlfriend; Tammi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francesco and Paola Poma.A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Smith Family Funeral Home - North at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Joseph DeHass officiating, visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.Memorials may be made to Blue Water Area Humane Society.
