Sally Ann Ladwig, 70, was born on September 24, 1941 in Worthington, MN, the daughter of Bernard and Nola (Anders) Olson of Okabena, MN. Sally married William W. Ladwig on October 26, 1963 in Okabena. Upon William's graduation from college, the family moved to Juneau, AK, where she worked at the Federal Highway Administration for nineteen years. Sally loved life with her children, grandchildren and many family members. She enjoyed gardening outdoors and an occasional night out at the casino. Sally passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids, MN Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, William Ladwig of Baxter, MN; three children, Michael, Aaron and his wife, Annetta and Jennifer Ladwig; four grandchildren, Kayleigh, Teresa, Amanda and Cierra Nakonsky; sisters, Nancy Lueck, Patty Olson and Carol Garmer; brother, Roger Olson and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother & father, Nola and Bernard and brothers, Duane and Gary Olson. Sally was a beloved wife, mother & grandmother. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home Chapel in Worthington, MN. Casket bearers will be Curtis Olson, Brady Olson, Myron Lueck, David Garmer, Chris Smith and Jim Smith. Burial will be in the Hersey Cemetery near Brewster, MN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington.
